Privacy Policy (English)

This Privacy Policy describes how Al-Ahliyya College ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you interact with our website, our Facebook Messenger bot, our Instagram Direct Message bot, and any other communication channels we operate.

1. Information We Collect

• Contact details you voluntarily share: name, phone number, email address.
• Conversation content exchanged with our automated assistant or human agents on our website, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram DM.
• Platform identifiers that Meta (Facebook / Instagram) sends us when you message our Page, such as your Page-Scoped ID (PSID) and public profile name — used solely to deliver the reply back to you.
• Program interest and expected start term, when you provide them.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To answer your questions about our academic programs, admission process, tuition, and campus life.
• To follow up with you regarding your interest in enrolling.
• To improve the quality of our AI assistant and our services.
• We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

To operate the bot and the website we rely on the following processors, each with their own privacy policies:

• Meta Platforms (Facebook Messenger and Instagram) — for message delivery.
• Anthropic Claude / Emergent — for generating conversational answers.
• MongoDB Atlas — for secure storage of leads and conversation logs.
• Resend — for admin email notifications when a new lead is registered.

4. Data Retention

We keep lead and conversation data for as long as needed to serve you and comply with our legitimate educational and legal obligations. You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 6).

5. Data Security

Data in transit is protected by HTTPS. Data at rest is stored in access-controlled databases. Only authorized admissions staff can view lead records.

6. Your Rights & Data Deletion Instructions

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, follow one of these two paths:

1. Email us at support@ah-online.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the phone number or email address you used when contacting us. We will delete all your data (lead record + conversation history) within 14 days and confirm by email.
2. WhatsApp / Messenger: send "delete my data" (or "احذف بياناتي" / "מחק את הנתונים שלי") to our official number +972 50-560-9003. A human advisor will action the request within 14 days.

Data deletion is permanent and non-reversible. This is the official user data deletion instructions URL referenced in our Meta App Review submission (App ID 2535245456991963).

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for prospective students aged 17 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest revision.
